Publications
Ideas that had to survive the page.
A selective record of published work behind ALEX: project networks, AI in project work, distributed delivery, system dynamics and cognitive systems research. The references stay as published. The notes do something different: they show where an older argument still earns its place in the work now.
Research connected to the work.
This is deliberately not a complete bibliography. Publication types stay visible because they do not all carry the same evidentiary weight. The point is not to make the list look longer. It is to show what each work actually examined, what kind of record it is, and where the reasoning still matters in the work now.
Future-Proofing Project Networks: AI, Systems Thinking, and Adaptive Decision-Making
Projects rarely fail one at a time. This paper examines interconnected project networks, where resources, risks and disruptions cross project boundaries. It argues for combining systems thinking with AI-assisted analysis rather than treating prediction as a substitute for understanding interdependence. That concern now reappears in the worked risk-to-decision case.

Transforming Project Management with AI: Automation, Analytics, and Stakeholder Engagement
The technology in this paper will age faster than the management problem. Its more durable question is where generative AI can improve project work without quietly taking over decisions that still require context, governance and human judgment. The current Field Note on AI and management logic is the stricter version of that argument.

Project Management for Remote, Hybrid, and Distributed Teams
A practical book about the less glamorous difficulty of distributed work: projects still need coordination, risk management, communication, leadership and accountability when the team is no longer conveniently in one room. It connects the publication record to the applied project and capability work behind ALEX.

A System Dynamics Approach to Sustainable Business Model Transformation: A Manufacturing Case
A transformation plan can look persuasive in a meeting and still behave badly once time, feedback and operational constraints enter the picture. This manufacturing case uses system dynamics to test those consequences before management commits. That habit—make the assumptions executable, then see what they do over time—still sits behind the current Decision Support Architecture.

Cognitive System Dynamics and related work.
These papers go one layer deeper into how beliefs, biases and feedback structures persist over time. They are SSRN preprints, not peer-reviewed validation of the management systems above. Their role here is narrower: they expose part of the systems reasoning underneath ALEX and keep that reasoning open to inspection.
Publishing-name note · The current SSRN record for the foundational CSD paper displays Alex Aryokiani on the paper page while its Suggested Citation metadata gives Hosseini, Ali. The references below follow the suggested citation metadata; the DOI/SSRN records remain the source records. The ORCID record links the publishing identity.
Cognitive System Dynamics
Introduces a structural approach to cognition in which bias, belief and behavior are examined as a feedback system rather than as isolated judgment errors. The aim is to make persistence and distortion structurally inspectable.

Bias Interaction Archetypes
Moves from individual biases to recurring feedback structures between them. The paper develops reusable archetypes for explaining how distortions can reinforce, stabilize and resist correction.

Feedback Realism
Examines why beliefs can remain stable even when contradictory evidence arrives. It treats belief persistence as a property of recursive feedback involving attention, memory, emotion and social alignment rather than simply as a failure of rational updating.
